As for your concerns, we are really sorry for the way the preliminary round was handled in most of the malls. Please understand though that Flippish has been asked to focus solely on the finals, and Cyberzone undertook the prelims themselves (from the event sequence to the judges to the background music) even though we gladly offered our assistance to them. But to be fair, we were able to observe the handling in some places, and we can tell you that the registration staff in those places did ask for the reference photos of all the cosplayers present. Many of the staff in the malls also did their best to start and end the contests in their respective areas on time, even if due to some technical difficulties the schedules had not been fully followed. In any case, we have seen your feedback and please rest assured we are doing our best to improve the handling of the final round. We're very grateful for all your observations during the event, this is a learning experience for us. :)
The rules will remain much the same from the old one, though thanks for calling into attention the fact that the rules are suddenly not up again. I've alerted our team about this, and we hope to have them up again soon. Please don't worry, very few of the rules have been changed - see for yourself at
http://www.flippish.com/cyberzonecosplay. And yes, there will be live streaming of the contest, and judging will happen simultaneously in both malls during the event. As always, if you have any questions please just ask.
